Age of Abundance
A new world is emerging where robotics and artificial intelligence are replacing mundane and tedious jobs. As products and services have dramatically lower costs and save tremendous time, more people will have greater access to higher quality products, services and experiences at little or no cost. This will usher in an Age of Abundance as new ecosystems emerge whereby incentives, rewards and payments can be driven by higher intrinsic values over lower extrinsic values driven by scarcity.
Greater abundance will include the satisfaction of higher intrinsic values. Everyone wants happiness, freedom, love, joy and fulfillment in life. Money today cannot buy happiness, love, or really anything that has intrinsic value - because quite literally intrinsic value is priceless and more rewarding. So then why not make higher intrinsic value the target for incentives and rewards? In order to do this, we need a reliable method for measuring and validating the experience of intrinsic value.
